Description
Bottega Veneta Pour Homme is a fresh, intriguing and subtle fragrance in which Bottega Veneta's signature notes of precious labdanum, fir balsam and bergamot blend into a sensual, leathery composition. Composed of ingredients as rare as they are noble, this fragrance with woody, aromatic characteristics takes us on a sensual journey through time and space. Only when there is no wind and the sun is at its zenith does the mysterious fragrance of Bottega Veneta Pour Homme unfold.
Its heart was extracted from the fragrant resin of a cistus plant, which can only be harvested between May and August, when the resin is particularly thick. Also known for centuries as the "dew of heaven" or the ingredient of myrrh, the precious Andalusian labdanum, which is rarely used today, gives the fragrance a lush, varied and rare depth. The refreshing, aromatic top notes are defined by bergamot from Calabria, pine from Siberia and juniper from the Balkans, followed by the warm heart notes of Jamaican clove pepper, balsam from Canadian fir and clary sage from the Mediterranean. Finally, the base notes of Indonesian patchouli and a nostalgic leather accord unfold, giving the fragrance structure and an elegant touch.
