Are these gels also suitable for lengthening nails?

Yes, the Allround gels can also be used to lengthen nails with tips and modeling templates.

Do I have to use the Allround gels for all layers of the modeling?

You can, but of course you don't have to. For example, if you tend to suffer from adhesion problems, you can use a separate [bonding gel]. This is even stronger and increases the durability of your modeling in this case. But of course you are also totally flexible when choosing your sealing gel. Regardless of whether you love mirror shine, glitter or the matt look - all our sealing gels can be perfectly combined with the all-round gels.

How can I avoid lifting? I have summarized some valuable tips for you here:

Take enough time to prepare your natural nails: Thorough cuticle removal in particular is essential to ensure that your gel really does stay on your nail for a long time. No cuticle residue should be left on the nail plate. If you don't have a nail cutter, our prep tool can help you.

Use bonding gel: All-round gels also serve as bonding gels. This means you don't need to use a separate bonding gel. However, this can be helpful in some cases. Namely, if you suffer from adhesion problems. It then provides an extra portion of adhesion and increases the durability of the modeling.

Make sure that no gel ends up in the edges of your nails: Work in very thin layers and leave a gap of approx. 0.5 mm between the gel and the edge of the nail. If some gel does end up in the nail edges, you can easily remove it with a practical [silicone tool] before hardening.

Coat your nail tip: Make sure to coat your nail tip well with each layer of gel.

Ensure perfect curing: Observe the specified curing times and do not go below them. I also recommend that you check the curing time of your lamp at regular intervals.

When I cure my UV gel in the lamp, it gets hot - why?

Every UV gel and UV varnish contains so-called photoinitiators. When curing in the lamp, these are set in motion and your product hardens on the nail. This movement creates friction and friction creates heat. I have some valuable tips for you here to prevent heat build-up:

Apply your UV gel thinner: The thicker you apply your gel, the more movement takes place on your nail at once. More movement also means more heat.

Pay attention to the condition of your natural nails: A stressed, injured nail or a nail bed that has been filed too thin is much more sensitive to touch and heat.

Use the low heat mode: Most of our UV/LED lamps have a so-called low heat mode. In this special mode, the lamp starts with less power and only develops its full power after a delay. This makes curing gentler and more pleasant.

Application: Stable gel modeling definitely makes you happy. Here are a few tips and tricks so that you can enjoy them for a particularly long time:

The right preparation is the key to success:

1. clean your hands thoroughly without using soap.

2. file your nails to the desired shape and length

3. apply a thin layer of cuticle remover to the cuticles on the nail plate and leave to work for approx. 1 minute

4. push back your cuticles using a cuticle pusher and remove them thoroughly.

5 Lightly buff your natural nail with the buffer or the even gentler buffer file.

6. thoroughly remove the filing dust from the nail with a nail brush.

7. now apply a wafer-thin layer of Primer 4 YOU - Ultra Bond and leave to air dry for approx. 1 minute.

TIP: If you have rather greasy or wet natural nails, you can put some Nail Prep - Clean & Dehydrate on a cell tablet and use it to clean your nail before applying your primer. This further increases the durability.

How to sculpt gel correctly:

1. apply a very thin layer of your Allround Gel as a base coat. When applying, make sure to avoid the edges of the nail, but coat the tip of the nail well.

2. leave the layer to harden for 60 seconds in the UV/LED lamp or for 120 seconds in the UV tunnel. (ATTENTION: the X-press Allround Gel only needs 30 seconds in the UV/LED lamp or 60-90 seconds in the UV tunnel)

3. OPTIONAL: If you want an extension using a modeling template, place it under your natural nail and shape your extension on it with the Allround Gel and cure it.

4. now model the structure of your nail with a thicker layer of Allround Gel.

5. leave the layer to harden for 60 seconds in the UV/LED lamp or for 120 seconds in the UV tunnel. (ATTENTION: the X-press Allround Gel only needs 30 seconds in the UV/LED lamp or 60-90 seconds in the UV tunnel)

6. remove the sweat layer with Gel Cleaner.

7. file the structure into the desired shape and remove the file dust.

8. now you can apply your selected Color Gel or Gel Lacquer color and then let it harden. Repeat this step if necessary.

9. to seal your nail, apply either another layer of Allround Gel or, for even more shine, your desired sealing gel and cure it in your lamp.

10. if necessary, remove the sweat layer of your modeling with Gel Cleaner.
