Step 1: Preparation

Always wash your feet thoroughly first. This will remove dirt and any cosmetic residue. Remove all cuticle debris from the nail bed and push back the cuticles. Allow your nails to dry thoroughly to ensure that there is no moisture under the nail. Why is this important? Your polish coats will adhere better to a clean, dry and smooth nail bed. The end result will be more even and the layers will stay flawless for longer.

Step 2: Choose

Remove the protective foil from your layer set. Choose the right size of layer by comparing the different layers with your own nails - you should choose a size that is as close as possible to the size of your nail. Are you between two sizes? Choose the smaller of the two layers and pull it sideways over the nail bed - the result will be cleaner and more durable.

Step 3:

To apply the coat to the nail, carefully place it on the nail bed, starting on one side near the cuticle and pushing the coat to the other side. For best results, carefully apply the layer to the nail so that it rests on the nail bed and not on the skin, making sure that it is close to the cuticle but not on it. The layers are soft and can be stretched to achieve maximum coverage.

Step 4: Customize

Pull the layer over the tip of the nail, almost as if you were pulling a fitted sheet over a mattress. Use a nail/finger tip or nail file to press the layer around the leading edge of the nail. Remove the excess by pinching it off and/or using a nail file.

Step 5: Make it permanent

Place your toenails under the UV LED lamp, one foot at a time. Press the button and hold your nails under the UV light until the light goes out after 60 seconds. The light from the lamp hardens the material. This increases the durability of the pedicure and gives the nails a glossy finish. Make sure that you hold all the nails under the lamp.

Step 6: You've done it

Step 7: Remove

Time for a color or pattern change? Here's how to remove your old layers. Start at the bottom of the cuticle. Peel the layer off slowly and carefully. If you have difficulty removing the layer, use some nail oil. Wash your hands carefully with soap and water. Before applying a new coat, remove all cuticle debris from the nail bed and push back the cuticles. Make sure that your nails are completely dry to avoid any moisture remaining under the nail bed or that the nail bed is softer than usual.
