Application:

Step 1.Hair should be clean, dry and free of tangles before use. Place the iron with the stand on a smooth, heat-resistant, flat surface and plug it in. Press and hold the ON/OFF button until the unit turns on and the "ON" indicator lights up. Adjust the temperature with the left and right buttons to achieve the desired heat. For healthy styling, we recommend the temperature setting of 180°C/360°F unless you have very straight/thick hair.

Step 2. The key to long-lasting, luscious waves is to properly prep your hair. Give your hair a heat protectant that will protect the strands from heat and give your hair extra hold.

Step 3 Begin by dividing your hair into sections with our Grip Clips. Smaller sections make for more defined waves. Start with one section at a time at the top near the hairline and clip the hair, making sure the hair is evenly placed in the coils. Be careful not to touch the scalp with the device. Hold the device for 2-5 seconds. Hold for a shorter time if the hair is easy to curl or if you want less defined waves. Once you have released the first clamp, clamp the top drum of the waver back onto the last wave bend. Overlap each wave with the wave bar to create a seamless wave from the roots to the tips. Repeat this process all the way to the ends on the entire head.

Step 4 When you're done waving, make sure the hair is completely cooled before touching it to allow it to set. For an effortless beachy wave, brush out the wave with our Mermade brush or comb through. Finish with an additional spray of Mermade Mist for hold and shine, or a flexible spray or lacquer spray for more hold.

Step 5. To turn off, press and hold the power off button until "OFF" is displayed. For your safety, the unit will automatically turn off after 60 minutes. Allow the unit to cool completely before packing it away. Wipe down the unit after use to avoid product build-up on the unit.
