L'Occitane works with a women's cooperative in Burkina Faso: these women make the shea butter from the nuts of the shea tree. The shea butter has the certification ESR - Equitable, Solidaire,Responsable. This label means that the product is not only organic* according to the Ecocert label, but also produced and traded under socially just, solidary and responsible, that is fair**, conditions.

Shea butter is suitable for dry and sensitive skin and contains viamtin E, which has an antioxidant effect.
