A toner with glycolic acid for daily use that smoothes the skin texture, evens out the skin tone and improves the skin's radiance.

Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toner is an exfoliating toner that, when used regularly, visibly smoothes the skin texture and makes the skin appear more even and radiant. It also reduces the appearance of expression lines and wrinkles. The water-based toner is suitable for daily use.

It contains a 7% glycolic acid - a proven alpha hydroxy acid - and a plant extract of Tasmanian mountain pepper, the color of which varies seasonally, which may occasionally result in visible color variations in the formula. This formula should not be used on sensitive, peeling or damaged skin. Please refer to the additional sun protection and other warnings in the instructions provided.

The pH value of this formula is approx. 3.6. glycolic acid has a pKa value of 3.6. the pKa value of acids is the decisive factor in the composition of acid peels. pKa describes the acidity of a molecule. If the pKa value is close to the pH value, there is an ideal balance between salt and acid, which maximizes the effectiveness of the acid and reduces the risk of irritation.

Application: Best applied in the evening and not more than once a day. Apply after cleansing. Moisten a cotton pad with the product and sweep over face and neck. Avoid the eye area and contact with the eyes. Do not rinse off. Then apply other products if necessary. If irritation persists, discontinue use and consult a doctor.

(Sunburn warning: The product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) which may increase the sensitivity of the skin to sunlight and in particular the possibility of sunburn. Use sunscreen, wear protective clothing and avoid sun exposure while using this product and for one week thereafter. Use only as directed. Skin contact with the product should not be frequent or prolonged). Do not use the product together with direct or ethylated vitamin C (LAA/ELAA) and vitamin C derivatives, retinoids, peptides and EUK 134 0.1 %.
