What are actually UV-A and UV-B rays?
UV-A rays: UV-A rays penetrate deeper into the skin and cause cell damage through the formation of free radicals, which lead to skin aging and pigmentation spots, among other things.
UV-B rays: These penetrate the skin less deeply than UV-A rays, but are more energetic and can lead to painful sunburns and, in the worst cases, skin cancer.
